LFI in the News

The Rakow Branch of the Gail Borden Public Library was recently featured in an article in The Reporter, the Illinois Library Association’s bi-monthly newsletter. This new library—which will celebrate being in operation for one year on August 15th—is quite unique, thanks to project architect Doug Skinner of Engberg Anderson and designer Sarah Ponto. It has achieved gold LEED certification, features a computer café, zen gardens, a fireplace—and an extensive amount of furniture from LFI.
